Joe Austins life was ended tragically in a Car accident on Tuesday the 31st of January 2006 aged 18 years old. Joe was a junior race driving enthusiast, and had competed in a national junior racing event.
Joe had been passionate about cars since an early age, and had taken part in Grass Track racing at Silloth in a Mini Cooper he had been working on since he was 14.
Joe also competed in a Junior National Racing Event in Hereford, 2003, finishing in the top 6 out of 124 drivers.
"His hobby from an early age was motor cars. after the mini he progressed to re-building cars and stripping engines, He obtained his apprenticeship at Pirelli in Carlisle last august.", Joes' Parents, Ann & Guy.
He will be greatly missed.
I never knew you but i would give anything to bring you back. I was in the donation team. I stroked your hair and made sure you was looked after and treated with respect. I cried then and still do to this day when i think of you. You have touched my heart forever and i will never forget you beautiful Joe.
I wanted to pay my respects then but i wasnt sure how to, or if in fact if i was allowed too. I hope you are tearing up the race tracks in the sky, i am into motorsports too so im sure i will be joining you on them one day!
